Get involved with the 1940 Air Terminal Museum!
There are many ways you can help to preserve Houston's aviation heritage.
The museum is almost entirely run by dedicated volunteers.
Volunteer opportunities include fundraising, historic research, cataloging and preserving artifacts, helping to promote the Museum at special events, training to become a docent or gift shop staffer, conducting video oral history interviews, participating in the educational outreach program and many other opportunities.
Become a Member and help save the Houston Municipal Airport Terminal!
If you or your company is interested in sponsoring a portion of the Museum or if you want to make a cash donation, every dollar helps the Museum fulfill its mission.
The museum is always looking for items to add to its collection, and to help fulfill its mission. Things with decades’ worth of dust sitting in your attic or garage may seem ready for a garage sale or the dumpster, but they may in fact be very important artifacts. See the 1940 Air Terminal Museum's Wish List.
