Apply for membership and help support the 1940 Air Terminal Museum!

The Houston Aeronautical Heritage Society is restoring the long vacant Houston Municipal Airport Terminal as the 1940 Air Terminal Museum, an interactive museum showcasing the importance of civil aviation since the dawn of manned flight.

The next phase of the Houston Aeronautical Heritage Society's 1940 Air Terminal Museum is now underway. We are restoring additional portions of Houston's original art-deco air terminal and soon we will be building a new museum exhibit hangar. The Houston Aeronautical Heritage Society has been recognized as a tax-exempt organization by the IRS under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. We invite you to apply to be a member of the 1940 Air Terminal Museum and be a part of this exciting project.

All members will receive the 1940 Air Terminal newsletter, The Starliner, a membership card and certificate, enjoy free admission to the museum during regular business hours, discounted admission at monthly events, and exclusive opportunities to participate in museum contests and fundraisers. We also recognize all our valued members once a year with a member-appreciation party.
