Chopper Day

Chopper day 2010 started out cold and rainy. We had to close the ramp for a while to wait for the rain to stop. Once the rain stopped, we opened the ramp back up, and let people enjoy the cold!

Thanks to Rowan Drilling for allowing us to have two of their Sikorsky S-76B's for static display. The museum's Sikorsky S-58 helicopter was also on hand.

After lunch, and once the weather cleared up a bit, Vertex Helicopters arrived on scene to hop rides for $25 each in their Hughes 269C, N360EH.

We had some of our new volunteers on hand to help out for Wings & Wheels. They had a great time, and you can too! Just contact us if you would like to be a volunteer!

Even with the cold and rain, we still had a great turn out for Wings & Wheels Chopper day!

Thanks to all who came out!
