Business Aviation Day

The first Wings & Wheels of 2012 was a great success! Business Aviation was the theme this month, and we filled the ramp with many examples of how aircraft can be used for business.

On our ramp this month were a Gulfstream IV and Pilatus PC-12 from Rowan Drilling, The Texas Children's Hospital Kangaroo Crew Cessna Citation, as well as the museum's own Lockheed Lodestar.

The day started out very muggy and overcast, and cooled off for a few brief periods during the day, but remained overcast and about 70 degrees all day, certainly not a typical January day!

Inside, there were several companies an organizations representing the business side of aviation. They included Hamilton Sundstrand, FlightSafety International, as well as the AOPA.

Lunch was provided by Boulevard Grill!

A special thanks goes to Million Air for all their logistical help at just about every Wings & Wheels!
