Come on by the 1940 Air Terminal Museum at Houston Hobby Airport this Saturday, October 20 and join us for another Wings and Wheels! This month we are welcoming a thriving local flying club to our ramp: The Bay Area Aero Club based out of Pearland Airport!
BAAC has been around since 1979, and have grown to 165 members and eight aircraft. Their members, as one would expect, range from student pilots to multi-engine certified pilots. They’re a great example of a thriving and busy flying club, and we welcome them to our Museum! Flying Clubs such as this are another great way to save money, and have fun while earning your wings!
And in the Wheel department, we are looking forward to a visit from some of the members of the West Houston Muscle car club, a haven for muscle-car enthusiasts of every make. We hope you spend plenty of time admiring their wide variety of cool cars and hot rods!
Wings and Wheels is from 11 am to 3 pm the third Saturday of each month and has a different theme each month.
Admission is $7 for adults and $3 for children, and includes access to the Museum, static aircraft and vehicle displays, and supervised access to the ramp. Admission is waived for visitors who fly in, or who drive in with a classic car. Lunch is available from a local mobile food vendor.
