Museum 70th Anniversary Day
On September 28, 1940, the Houston Municipal Airport terminal opened for business. There was a huge party on this day, the parking lot was full of cars, and attendees watched the arrivals and departures of Braniff Airlines and Eastern Airlines DC-2’s and DC-3’s from the second-story observation decks.
70 years later, the old Houston Municipal Airport building is now The 1940 Air Terminal Museum, and we want to have a party to out-do the one they had on that day. Join us to be part of this celebration!
