HobbyFest 2010

HobbyFest was a huge success! Thanks to all who came out and enjoyed the day.

The day was clear and cool all day which made for a welcome change from the recent winter weather. For aircraft on the ramp we of course had all of the museum's collection of aircraft, most of the "Rick Sharpe Air Force", in the form of his A-26, the Beech Staggerwing, along with his newest acquistion, a small jet figher called a Gnat!

We had a few general aviation visitors, and Life Flight came out, along with HPD. Gale Haskins brought his PT-17 and PT-19 out for display as well.

The museum also participated in the chili cook-off contest. We would like to congratulate the first place winners, Go Go Printing!
