The Duke Energy Hangar at 9:30 a.m. Volunteers Gordon Cragg, Ann and Brian Heckman, and Dave Cox work to get things ready for the evening. Placing programs at each place setting. Kirsten Coats finilizes the details with the catering staff. Almost ready... Time to dim the lights... The University of Houston Hilton catering crew poses as a group before the guests arrive.  (Most of these kids are students at UofH.) Chef's staff is ready to serve.
Cleared for takeoff... Ronnie Renfro's Big Band strikes up. The Houston Swing Dance Society takes the dance floor. Ralph Hall's vintage gas hopper is parked under the wing of the museum's Lockheed Lodestar. The Silent Auction tables are loaded with great stuff!
The Silent Auction tables go on and on... Tommy Bacarro's vintage Packard limosine served the 1940 Air Terminal in its day! Charlotte and Jay Tribble (of Tribble and Stephens) Jonathan and Barbara Frank, and Steve and Nancy Williams greet guests on arrival. Dancers take the floor as Ronnie Renfro's Big Band plays.
