The Houston Aeronautical Heritage Society (HAHS) signs the lease for the long-vacant Houston Municipal Airport Terminal building at William P. Hobby Airport. Completed November, 2002
Houston City Council votes unanimously to approve the lease. Completed March, 2003
HAHS takes possession of the Houston Municipal Airport Terminal, makes its first monthly lease payment, and moves forward with plans to renovate the building. Completed April 1, 2003
Plans for a new fence surrounding the 1940 Air Terminal Museum leasehold are submitted to the Houston Airport System for approval. Completed April, 2003
