Liquidation of DC-6 nose
We have a DC-6 nose that was cut off from N841TA.
Various photos of its prior life can be found here:

It has been inside the hangar for most of its life, but in the past 4-5 years, it has sat outside of our hangar, see all photos here:

It is next to our hangar at 8323 Travelair Street in Houston, TX
As shown in the photo below, the nose is currently mounted to a trailer, so it can be moved around, but this trailer is NOT suitable for movement on the public roads. You would likely need to hire a flatbed truck and forklift or crane large enough to pick it up and secure it to the flatbed, see past photos of the operation to get it onto the current trailer.
In summary, if you wish to procure the DC-6 nose, you must agree to the following:
Pay $20k USD. Once a check or wire transfer clears, we will schedule logistics.
Handle all logistics related to moving the nose and associated items off of Hobby airport.
Any purchase would be final and we have no way to provide any kind of guarantee or warranty for the nose. You would be purchasing hardware of unknown functional capacity.
All of these operations will require vehicle escort onto the AOA of Hobby airport. Museum personnel will coordinate this part.
