Clarification of Chron.com article

A June 28, 2026 digital article at Chron.com makes some statements that require clarification.

Please note the following:

Negotiations between the city of Houston and The Texas Historical Commission (THC) to acquire the museum remain ongoing.

Most of the assets of the 1940 Air Terminal Museum remain in place at least until the conclusion of the above-mentioned negotiations.

The museum is selling a limited number of non-core assets, to pay off various creditors:
